Welcome to the wrap up of Crafted Colour – Practical Colour Theory for Craft, which is aimed at helping you develop your Colour Confidence and Craft with Colour.
What an amazing experience 31 days of Crafted Colour has been! I’d like to thank everyone for joining me for this series.
I’d also like to thank those who messaged me on Instagram and Facebook with their I Spy photos. It helped me to find some of the logos I shared in this post. I’ve compiled a list below of the I spy Challenge posts. Remember this is an open ended challenge you can join in whenever you like.
- I Spy Challenge – Analgous Colours
- I Spy Challenge – Split Complementary Colours
- I Spy Challenge – Complementary Colours
For those of you familiar with colour theory and just want to know the steps to use to make your craft project amazing, I have a list of my Four Rules Of Crafted Colour below.
- What mood do you want your project to convey ? Consider this.
- Choose the colours that reflect the mood, then pick the colour scheme.
- If the colour palette isn’t right, play with the values and mix things up a little.
- Yes, that’s right. Break the Rules if you want to!
I am hoping to turn the first half of this series into an ebook with more details and illustrations. If you’d like to be notified when this is available you can leave a comment below with your email address, or if you prefer, use the contact me page to email me direct.
As for the second half of the series, if you like to see more colour palettes here’s a few to get you started.
Also you can let me know in the comments (or by contacting me privately) if you’d be interested in a monthly colour palette challenge with a linky style linkup.
Thanks again everyone for following along.
